Neka Art Studio (est.2006) is a multi-faceted studio that houses:

  • A Fine Arts visual art studio, with works created by Afrofuturist visual artist Tanekeya Word. Tanekeya's work has garnered national attention as a Bombay Sapphire and Rush Philanthropic Arts "Artisan Series" regional semi-finalist (2010). She is featured in corporate, museum and private collections across the globe.
  • An Independent Arts Management Consultation agency that serves cultural visual arts entities: collectives, organizations and institutions with arts manager Tanekeya Word--M.A. Arts Management (American University, 2011).  
  • A Creative Brand Identity and Strategic Branding Company that focus on for-profit companies, emerging entrepreneurs, cultural initiators, cultural producers and influencers.
  • An Independent Research component that specializes in Afrofuturism and Black Philanthropy in the arts. Its recent 130+ page publication researched Black Philanthropy in the Visual Arts: A Contemporary Perspective with an August 2011 release date.
