In this virtual talk, artists Tanekeya Word and Stephanie Santana discuss the work of artist and activist Emma Amos with curator Laurel Garber. They shared how Amos informs and inspires Black Women of Print, which Word founded and of which Santana is a founding member, and presented for the first time two new fine art prints created in homage to Amos. This talk was offered in conjunction with the exhibition Emma Amos: Color Odyssey, on view at the Philadelphia Museum of Art through January 17, 2022, and with partial support from a Collaboration Grant from the Association of Print Scholars.
